The new range of Microsoft Office apps for tablets are quite a treat. Note that this app is designed only for tablets. It will not work on your phone. Also, note that this Microsoft Word is different from the version that is made to work on phones.
In the description of the app you will find this (under quotes):
The free Microsoft Word app provides a core experience for viewing, creating and editing docs on tablets with a screen size of 10.1 inches or smaller. You can unlock the full Word experience with an Office 365 subscription.
What it means is Microsoft is giving it to you for free for devices having screen size lower than 10.1 inches. You don't need to buy the app. It's absolutely free. Most of the features are free and there is no need to buy a subscription.
The file size totals around 140 megabytes (40mb for apk, 80mb for the data).
A must have app for heavy users of Microsoft Word. In my experience editing a document in the tablet and then editing in the desktop do not have any issues.

Installation Procedure:
1. Extract the zip file. Password is twowiz.com. Move the extracted folder to Android/obb/.2. Download and install the apk.
