Let me take you to the event that happened today in Delhi MI Fan Meet.
As soon as I saw this(the picture)post, I googled the location, planned my route and started off. After two shifts of DTC bus, I got down at Mahipalpur and walked the whole of the distance(1.2 km) to the hotel, JW Marriott Aerocity, Delhi.
Here is my walk journey{:4_109:}..it was hot.
And here is my google satellite map plan with proof.sadly, the pictures is not that great.haha..
Hugo, Manu, Rohit, they were all there. I got a chance to shook hands with all of them...Great!!!
A lot of MI fans were sitting present here and there discussing, introducing and playing with the gadgets.
After a liittle while, Hugo went around, talking with the fans. The conversation was interesting with funny jokes about the Huge Demand for the phones in India. He accepted that he had not expected such a huge response in the Indian market. One guy funnily said that everyone in their family owns an MI 3..Every single one of them. {:4_117:}..And there is this guy who said that he has a grandfather who has never used a touch phone but wants to buy an MI 3. Haha...EVERYONE LAUGHED......Discussed a little about the sale of the phone in other sites priced at higher prices. There seems to be a seller who delivers Xiaomi products in Delhi in just one day...Faster than Flipkart, as they said...I just laughed.
A little later, Hugo started with the Redmi 1s contest. {:4_107:} . I was waiting for it....patiently {:4_118:}....
Almost everyone present gave a new idea, new features, and added functionality for the phone and os.
He selected 10 of them. The fans voted. Hugo gladly awarded the winner. My entry with the feature " Bum to share files via nfc, bluetooth, wifi" didn't make it. The winner was the one with the super battery saver idea. Iyah..he had said it before I could. Hehe..{:4_120:}
But nevertheless, everyone of us will get a priority pass for the Redmi 1s sale.....I'm sure many more passes will be available for others too via contest, forums, facebook, etc.
Near the end, we all marched towards the reception table of the hotel and clicked a group photo. I'm there. {:4_112:}
I walked another 1.2 km along with newly made friends. They went inside the metro station. I took the bus, got down, took another bus, and reached home. Now, I'm here describing my thoughts.
I don't feel like writing everything down. There is certainly no need for that. Anyway, hope this will suffice.
ENJOY!
